


The setting and backstory were particular highlights of the original, making for a world we’d certainly like exploring more of, especially now that they’ve had a chance to refine the Homefront formula and iron out the kinks. It promises non-scripted firefights and the ability to build a resistance – recruiting soldiers, building an arsenal and establishing bases and safe-houses.

Playable in single player or online co-op, you’ll have to master the arts of infiltration, sabotage and ambush to stand a chance of overthrowing the occupying forces. Homefront: The Revolution sets you loose in a living, breathing world as you lead a resistance group fighting in the war-ravaged suburbs of Philadelphia against forces with superior firepower and technology. Homefront: The Revolution is an impressive looking CRYENGINE-powered futuristic open-world shooter that looks set to rectify the mistakes made in the original Homefront game and build on it’s excellent backstory.
